A Few Freebies

There are a few freebies available right now:

~Free Ovulation and/or Pregnancy tests are available here. (I haven't tried this, as I don't need these right now, so if anyone tries, I would be interested in how this works out.) Thank you, Erin, for the link!

~ Join me in a blog tour with Waterbrook Multnomah, by registering here. If accepted into their blogging for books program, register for the Treasured , God Gave us Christmas, and God Gave us Love book tour. You will receive a free advanced copy of each of these books. All you have to do, in return, is write a review on your blog. I am particularly excited about receiving Treasured, as it looks like a terrific devotional, that would really help me to focus on Christ, this Christmas. The other two books look like terrific books for leading and guiding children. It would be so much fun to read these books at the same time, and to read each other's thoughts on them! You may even choose to pass along some or all of these books as Christmas gifts.

~ Receive a free sample of Emergen-C. Since this cold and flu season has been so terrible, we have found that taking Emergen-C, which contains over 1000 mg of Vitamin C, helps prevent us from getting some of the illnesses going around. We are almost half way done with a box of raspberry flavored Emergen-C, which is very tasty. (I hesitated at spending nearly $8.50 for a box of 30, but I figure it is worth the cost, as my dear husband really cannot afford to be sick, with his job.) It is also an energy booster, which can be quite helpful for a day when you are dragging, or even for women in labor! (I am definitely saving a few packets for my birth box.) If you have tried Emergen-C; I would love to hear what you think about it!

~Don't forget to check Walmart's Free Samples section, periodically, to see what new samples they are offering!

Many Blessings!

Oooh, thank you for the reminder to tuck a few packets of Emergen-C into my hospital bag for when my baby comes. Soon I hope! We use the orange or tangerine version. The raspberry reminds me too much of red Koolaide. I drink it every morning with my breakfast. A midwife suggested it when I was pregnant with my second child as help for strengthening my membranes. I don't know if it was responsible, but my daughter was nearly born within intact membranes! Thought I was birthing a balloon.

Amy~
I had no idea that Emergen C helps strengthen the membranes. I always thought it would be so neat to have a baby "born in the veil". Blessings!
