We did this deal, but I didn't think about price matching them with Walgreen's. I should have read your blog first. :) They were still pretty cheap, though!

When I tried to price match at customer service, I was told that I could only use one coupon for the five boxes of cereal that I wanted to buy. I said that the coupon does not say one coupon per transaction, just one coupon per purchase. The manager said that it means the same thing. :(

Freida,
Our Target can be frustrating, to say the least. I have had two weeks of them being finicky because of coupons. I have come to the conclusion that if you stay away from the assistant managers, most deals will work out. At this point, our Target has given me so many frustrations, that I am planning on mainly trying these deals at the Target near my midwife's office, from now on. It just isn't worth it here.I am so sorry that it didn't work out for you, either. It seems to work out very well, every time for Crystal (Money Saving Mom). (Though she happens to live in Kansas.) She pays only a few dollars for a lot of groceries, each week.It would be nice if all Targets were universal about their coupon policy instead of frustrating their patrons.
