Christmas Gift Ideas:
My husband's family has a fairly simply holiday gameplan. Rather than everyone giving a gift to every family member, everyone selects one name at random, and purchases that one person a gift. Though this is rather simple, the stressful part is that this is the main gift this person is going to receive. So, you better get it right! This always leads me to searching ardently online and at stores till I find what I consider to be the perfect gift for my person. Also, the larger my family grows, the more gifts we have to give. Regardless of how your family exchanges presents, it can often be frustrating to scan the mall and stores, often to no avail. I wanted to share with you some gift ideas that are often universal. Having a back up list can definitely help immensely.
Ladies Gifts
*Pajamas- This is one of my favorite gifts to give. Whether it is a cute and cozy flannel pajama bottoms with a cozy matching shirt, or a beautiful, flowing nightgown, you can usually find pajamas that would suit any lady.
*Purse- This is a great choice for young girls as well. I picked up a really cute purse at Kohl's for my niece's birthday. Regularly, it was $22, but it was on sale for $11. I had a gift card from previous exchanges, so it was basically free for me to purchase. I love deals like this!
*Comfy Slippers
*Classic DVD and popcorn (arrange in a cute basket)
*Living Room throw
*Fragrant Seasonal Candle- I love Yankee Candles. A great site for purchasing them online is here .
*Homemade or Storebought Stationary
*Cute Tote Bag- A really nice one, though expensive one is here. You can always buy a tote bag elsewhere and have it monogrammed for about $5, locally.
*Lotion, Body Wash- On my recent trip to the dollar store, I was amazed at their quality lotions and bath gel. I would venture to say that it was the same quality as the famed Bath and Body Works . Imagine that you could buy lovely lotions and gels for many of your friends at the same price as you could only buy for one person at Bath and Body Works. Don't be afraid of being considered "cheap". Frugality is a beautifully satisfying experience! Nothing about these items says "cheap".
*Crochet/Buy a matching Scarf and Hat
*Vintage Towels and Coordinating Kitchen Rug
*Herbal Tea, Biscotti, and a Lovely Tea Cup T.J.Maxx, Marshall's, and Ross have these items at low prices.
*Gift Card to a Favorite Coffee Shop
*Gift Card to a Favorite Restaurant, and offer to watch her little ones.
*Homemade Mixes- My favorite site for these is here . These are wonderful ideas if you are giving a gift to a family. These are a terrific way to remain frugal.
I hope these ideas are a good start to helping you to select items for your dear female friends and family members. I will post Christmas gifts ideas for children and men soon. I would love any other general gift ideas that are applicable to ladies. I pray that your Christmas shopping time is easy, thus freeing you to concentrate on the most important things of the season.

I just love Christmas shopping for my family! I'm basically done already, but I still need to get a few more items.
